Pouf ottoman named One For Four (model EJ 144) is designed by Anne-Mette Bartholin Jensen and Morten Ernst. and produced by Erik Jørgensen Furniture. With its minimalistic design and beautiful upholstery. The “One For Four” pouf ottoman has become a new decorative classic.
The beauty of the pouf ottoman is evident in the way the different pieces of leather meet each other on the seat, combined with the straight stitches that form a beautiful pattern.
The famous Danish designer duo, Anne-Mette Jensen and Morten Ernst started their collaboration in 1994. It happened when they entered a design competition announced by the furniture Manufacturer Erik Jørgensen.
The objective of the competition was to find “a new place or form of togetherness”. Jensen & Ernst were still students at the Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture when they entered. Nevertheless, they surprised everyone when they won with their “Wave Sofa”. The sofa soon attracted international attention and it is now being sold around the world.
The competition was also the beginning of a long-lasting relationship with Erik Jørgensen who they are still collaborating with.
Since they started in 1994, the design duo have become established in contemporary furniture design and they are particularly known for their organic-shaped furniture.
